Police arrested a man who is accused of breaking into a home and spending the night in the basement.

Overland Park police responded to a house in the 5000 block of W.102nd Ter. on a call of an aggravated burglary Saturday morning.

The homeowner called 911 after noticing his family room window smashed out. He found a man in the basement during a search of the house, police said.

According to police, the 33-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri told officers he was a CIA agent on the run and said Kansas City was under attack.

Officers entered the basement and found a blanket from the upstairs family room and noticed pizza, three bottles of water and a loaf of bread from the kitchen.

Police discovered the suspect had parked his vehicle near W. 103rd St. and Rosewood.

Charges in this case are pending.
