When did you start working here?
August 2017.

Where else have you worked?
I started at KFBB in Great Falls, Montana. I went from one extreme to the other landing at WBBH in Fort Myers, Florida. Most recently, I reported at WPTV in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Where did you go to college?
Missouri State University

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I swell with a sense of pride when I know I’ve made a difference through journalism. Not every story is earth-shattering or award winning. But when something I report helps a family or a neighborhood, I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot.

What are you most proud of in your own life?
Never settling. I love a good challenge. Whether it’s moving to Montana to start a career, or learning French, I’m proud to say I start every test with passion and determination. There’s so much in this world to experience, we better try as much as possible.

What do you love about living in the KC area?
This is home for me. I relish the history of Kansas City. From the stockyards to jazz, Negro Leagues baseball and Harry Truman, it’s incredible how our history impacts the place we call home today.

What are your favorite local hangouts/places, sports & cultural institutions?
You’ll find me in KCMO’s midtown. I love 39th Street, Westport and The Plaza. Loose Park is a great place to relax and you have to check out the rotating exhibits at the Nelson Museum’s Bloch Building

All-time favorites... (movies, shows, books, music)
I tend to favor comedies: "Bowfinger" is an underrated movie. I’ll see just about anything with Will Ferrell or Bill Murray. On TV, I love the old sitcoms like "Seinfeld" and "Fraiser." But "The Wire" may be the greatest TV series ever. "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" quench may adventurous side. I listen to mostly old school hip-hop.
