KSHB

Reporter

When did you start working here?
I started working at KSHB 41 in February 2026.

Where else have you worked?
Before joining KSHB 41, I worked as a reporter and anchor at WRTV in Indianapolis, Indiana. During my time there, I covered Hendricks County, Indiana, with a strong focus on community-driven and solution-based storytelling. While there, I also covered major sporting events, including the Indy 500, the NBA Finals and the WNBA All-Star Game.

Prior to Indianapolis, I spent three years at KY3 News in Springfield, Missouri, covering local crime, courts, and breaking news. I spent time at the anchor desk and out in the field. My coverage of a 2022 drive-by shooting investigation helped the newsroom earn a Missouri Broadcasters Association Award for Best Breaking News Coverage. I also reported on nationally recognized stories, including the social media attention surrounding inmate Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

I began my career at reporting at KOMU News in Columbia, Missouri, while attending the University of Missouri.

Where did you go to college?
I graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2021. M-I-Z!!

What are you most proud of when it comes to your work?
I am most proud of my intentional approach to storytelling and the connections I build within the community. Building trust and lasting relationships with the people who share their stories with me is something I value deeply.

What are you most proud of in your own life?
I am proud of the effort I have put into building my career and how rewarding that journey has been. I am especially excited to be working back in Missouri. I am originally from St. Louis, and being back in my home state feels full circle. I am also proud of the close relationships I have with my family and friends, which mean everything to me.

What do you love about living in the KC area?
I am new to the area, but I knew right away I wanted to call Kansas City home. The city has a great vibe with a classic Midwest feel. I visited KC often growing up and always wanted to come back. I am excited to explore the area and truly make it home.

What are your favorite local hangouts, places, sports and cultural institutions?
So far, I love the City Market and the Plaza. I am a curious person and enjoy exploring new places, shops and restaurants. I am excited to keep discovering more of the area.

All-time favorites (movies, shows, books, music):
My all-time favorite movie is Back to the Future. My dad introduced it to me when I was a kid, and it has been a favorite ever since. My go-to shows are Stranger Things and The White Lotus. I love getting hooked on a great series. My favorite book, which is also one of my favorite movies, is Little Women. When it comes to music, it is hard for me to narrow it down to just one genre. Music is a big part of my life, and I love going to live shows and festivals.

Other than KSHB.com and KSHB 41 News, where do you get your news?
